The commitment to our corporate-funded continuing education program keeps our team current with all local, state, and federal specifications and ahead of the changes in the industry. Our approach to construction management utilizes continuous communication between the designer, contractor, project owner, and all stakeholders that are affected during the construction process.

Our team’s experience in identifying constructability and design issues, then applying engineered based solutions within a timely manner which ultimately results in under budget and on time project delivery. Our team is committed to utilizing current GPS and drone technology to provide precise measurements and models as well as providing aerial progress photos to our clients. This foundation of capable and experienced personnel, a commitment to continued education and effective communication strategies maximizes the efficiency of project budgets. 

Our team of highly skilled professionals at Batterman has served the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Illinois Department of Transportation since 1989, managing over 120 projects ranging in size from under $1 million to over $126 million.

Henry Dorrbaker’s Entertainment Lab

This project’s primary challenge was maximizing the outdoor entertainment space while maintaining a turnaround for traffic and fire trucks and effectively managing storm water. Through strategic planning, public engagement, and creative engineering led by Batterman, the project successfully navigated space constraints and environmental hurdles, helping this exciting addition to the downtown landscape to move forward.

500,000-Square-Foot Spec Warehouse

This project in the Gateway Business Park presented several challenges, including a significant grade change across the site, unique storm water routing requirements, poor soils, and existing infrastructure elements. Despite these challenges, the project stayed on its aggressive schedule, showcasing the importance of early due diligence and proactive problem-solving.
I-39 Highway Project

I-39 Reconstruction (STH 11 to USH 14)

This complex IH 39 expansion project involved reconstruction of the most urban section of the IH 39 corridor from STH 11 to USH 14. Key components of this complex staged project include twelve bridges, six MSE retaining walls, nine noise walls, major grading operations, four lanes of concrete pavement, and all new storm sewer.

County Highway H Reconstruction

This 0.8-mile reconstruction/perpetuation project includes geometric expansion and turn lane additions required for a 350,000 SF Kroger Distribution Center.
Delavan Tower Project

Project Description: Located in the heart of downtown Delevan, the site was constrained on all sides by a State Highway, residential houses, and downtown businesses. The City wanted to expand the park’s square footage to help establish the park as a central, community-defining, public, and event space.
Beloit Powerhouse Bridge Walk

Beloit College Powerhouse Riverwalk

10 span pedestrian bridge along the Rock River as part of the Beloit College Powerhouse Building.  The project will be a part of the riverfront revitalization commitment made by the City of Beloit and will connect a gap in the riverfront trail system through the area.
